POWER, PURPOSE and JOY

In the four years since Kristine Brassie’s passing, many in the community have been looking for an appropriate way to recognize her for her friendship, loyalty and commitment to the youth of Honeoye Falls.  Kristine truly loved our community.  She loved gathering with others and initiating opportunities for others to gather.  Of course, she loved sports of all types, as a participant, coach and parent.

Through conversations with the Brassie family, we believe there is an opportunity to not only honor Kristine’s legacy in the community, but to also honor the legacy of other families that were close to the HFL lacrosse community and have experienced loss.

Honeoye Falls Youth Lacrosse and the Honeoye Falls – Lima Central School District have developed a plan to create “Legacy Field”, which will consist of a brand new box lacrosse facility, complete with field turf, for all members of the community to use.  Legacy Field will be located on the HFL campus, between the High School athletic complex and the HFL Middle School and will honor all HFL lacrosse families who have experienced a meaningful loss.
