HFL Lacrosse Makes History in Section V

The Honeoye Falls-Lima (HFL) Lacrosse program is celebrating an unforgettable spring as both our Girls and Boys Varsity teams brought home Section V Championships, once again solidifying their place in program — and Section V — history.

Girls Varsity: A Historic 15th Title

With grit, determination, and an unshakable team bond, the HFL Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team captured their 15th Section V Championship, becoming the first girls team in Section V history to reach this incredible milestone.

This achievement is a testament to years of hard work, strong leadership, and a culture of excellence built by players, coaches, and families over generations. HFL Girls Lacrosse continues to be a powerhouse in the region and a source of pride for our entire community.

Boys Varsity: A Championship 3-Peat

Not to be outdone, the HFL Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team earned their third consecutive Section V title, completing an impressive 3-peat and showcasing the depth, resilience, and rising talent within the program.

This year’s team played with heart and precision, staying focused and united through every challenge. Their continued success builds on a strong legacy and sets the stage for future champions coming up through the youth program.

A Program-Wide Celebration

These victories are more than just trophies — they’re proof of what’s possible when a community rallies around its athletes. From youth players just picking up a stick for the first time, to alumni who once wore these jerseys, this moment is a celebration of the entire HFL Lacrosse family.

Congratulations to our players, coaches, families, and fans for being part of this historic season. The future is bright — and the legacy continues.
